Job Title: Hire Desk Administrator

Location: Billingshurst, West Sussex

Salary: £25,000 per annum plus bonus

Job Type: Full Time – Permanent

Working Hours: 8am – 5pm

BPH is an independently-owned plant hire company based in the South East. From excavators and dozers, to dumpers and telehandlers, we’ve been supplying a huge variety of heavy machinery for hire to the construction industry for almost half a century.

Role Purpose:

This is an administrative role to assist in the day to day running of a busy hire desk.

Please note this is an office Based role.

Key Duties:

  • Answering incoming telephone calls
  • Ensuring all hire contract administration is completed in an accurate and timely manner including arranging all “on” and “off” hire’s
  • Invoice processing
  • Liaising with Hire Desk and machine operators for daily jobs
  • Operator timesheet entry on to CRM
  • Notify customers of and charge all damages to account
  • Build strong customer relationships and resolve any customer issues
  • General ad-hoc administrative duties

Key Competencies:

  • Good eye for detail
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good team player
  • Previous experience of CRM programme an advantage
  • Previous plant hire or construction industry experience an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Opportunity for progression for the right candidate

The candidate must live within a commutable distance of Billingshurst.
