Job Title: HR Administrator
Reports to: HR Manager
Location: Battersea, London SW8 4DF
Salary: Salary £25,000 pa
Job type: Permanent- Fulltime 9 am – 5 pm
Aim:
To provide day-to-day HR support to the organisation and contribute to the long‐term development of the HR function.
Duties will include but not restricted to:
- Assisting the management team in daily HR activities
- Be the main contact for general HR queries and payroll queries
- Maintain an understanding of current employment legislation
- Update personal information on HR software-ADP
- Maintenance of all holiday and absence records
- Assist in the recruitment, new starter, and leaver processes
- Ensure staff inductions are carried out
- Ensure that all legal right to work and correct documentation is obtained for all staff plus new starters and information are kept up to date
- Manage probation review process
- Manage the issuing of documentation and letters to new staff and any other ongoing communications
- Take minutes in employee relations meetings
- Communication of HR policy and procedures to all staff
- Maintain and update personnel electronic data system
- Carry out reasonable ad hoc tasks as and when required
Health and Safety
- To work in accordance with the company Health and Safety policy
- To ensure staff understand, and comply with, their responsibilities under the company Health and Safety at Work policy
Security
- To take reasonable precautions to protect the Company’s property
- To challenge any unauthorised personnel on the premises
- To report and investigate any incident of theft
