Job Title: HR Administrator – Part Time

Salary: £23,000 – £25,000 per annum (full time equivalent)

Ventec 100 Ltd t/as Vent Engineering was founded in 1988, we are specialists in natural and smoke ventilation systems and have been importing, manufacturing, supplying, installing and commissioning smoke ventilation systems for over 30 years for a variety of projects of all shapes and sizes.

We employ over 90 staff across the UK with its head office in Poole, Dorset where this role is based.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced HR Administrator to support the HR Manager on a part time basis for a minimum of 20 hours per week. This is an office-based role but with flexibility on days worked and start and finish times.

Duties include (but not limited to):

  • Arranging interviews, sending application forms and obtaining right to work information.
  • Corresponding with successful and unsuccessful candidates.
  • Assist at job fairs.
  • Support the HR Manager with onboarding and induction of new employees including gathering information.
  • Keep HR system up to date.
  • Chase sickness absence information
  • Manage electronic and manual HR files.
  • Organise probation meetings, appraisal meetings and exit interviews.
  • Organise external training courses
  • Conduct the administration of the employee benefit schemes
  • Other ad hoc duties as reasonably required

The ideal candidate will need to:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Be organised
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Have excellent communication and people skills
  • Have a proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a trustworthy manner
  • Have a CIPD level 3 qualification
