Job Title: HR Advisor

Location: Didcot Quarter (near Milton Park), Abingdon

Salary: £28,000 to £38,000 per annum depending on experience

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

The Role:

We are looking for an HR professional with the ability to think critically and work both independently and collaboratively. You will lead on recruitment campaigns and onboarding, efficiently manage employee records and support Line Managers in ensuring processes are adhered to. You will have foundational knowledge of data protection and employment law and proactively keep up to date with legislative changes. The successful candidate will be working at Advisor/Associate level (equivalent to CIPD level 5) or will be ready for the step up to working at this level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advertise vacancies, manage interview and selection process
  • Manage onboarding and induction of new starters
  • Maintain employee records via online HR platform
  • Support Line Managers with reviews, absence management and case work
  • Work with HR Manager on process improvement projects

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrable HR and/or recruitment experience
  • Ability to work with confidentiality and discretion
  • Competence in MS office and online HR/training platforms
  • Positive, proactive approach to your work
  • Excellent levels of attention to detail
