Job Title: HR Business Partner – Talent

Location: Bridgend, South Wales

Salary: £43,098 – £46,674 per annum, pro rata

Job type: Part Time, Permanent

Working Hours: 18.5 Hours Per Week

We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a HR Business Partner – Talent (Part Time)

Working within the Resourcing Team in the HR Department your role will focus on Talent and the Police Promotion Process. You do not need experience of the Police Service to apply as long as you can utilize your HR experience in an environment where you need to react positively to change. This is a Job-Share opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Working with the Senior Management Team, to develop, implement and improve strategies and processes that maximise the potential of those working within the organisation.

Assist in developing a high-performance workplace and encouraging the identification and progression of workforce Talent, particularly within under represented groups.

You will be responsible for designing and delivering effective Police Promotion processes and developing processes linked to talent identification, succession planning and force organisational objectives.

This is a Job share opportunity working 0.5 FTE or 18.5 hours a week. Exact working pattern to be confirmed but Wednesday – Friday. There may be occasions where you are asked to work flexibly outside of this pattern.

Requirements:

  • CIPD qualified/ Level 7 diploma in HR Management (or about to complete)
  • Must demonstrate sufficient experience of designing and implementing consistent and fair assessment strategies. Ideally large-scale selection processes
  • You will bring a sound understanding of employment legislation and have experience of talent management processes
