Job Title: HR Officer (Payroll)

Location: Leeds

Salary: £18,500 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Part time. 22.5 hours per week.

The closing date for this role is: Midnight Sunday 5th March 2023.

Interviews will take place on: Tuesday 14th March 2023.

About the role:

Leeds Federated has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the HR function of our Corporate Services team to provide an effective payroll service and support the delivery and administration of HR focused tasks.

We are seeking a self-motivated and proactive individual to provide a full range of administration support and coordination of the Association’s payroll and HR functions. The individual will contribute to the delivery of an effective and efficient HR and Payroll service through excellent communication and the development of strong working relationships with colleagues and external service providers.

About you:

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge in UK payroll legislation and have solid administrative experience of payroll and of working in a HR environment. You should have robust attention to detail, with the ability to identify irregularities, be able to prioritise workloads and be solution focused.

Key Duties:

  • Administration and coordination of all payroll activities on a monthly basis
  • Administration of the Association’s pension scheme
  • Administration of benefits scheme
  • Supporting the HR Team including answering queries
  • Provide general administrative support to the Corporate Services Department
