Job Title: Industrial Door Engineer
Location: Various contracts throughout the UK requiring overnight stays at well-known national hotel chains with your own room.
Salary: £30,000 to £65,000 depending on experience, qualifications and hours worked.

Hart Door Systems are looking for installation and site maintenance engineers to join our fantastic team and support the growth of our business.
Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, we are a family-owned business that was founded in 1946. We manufacture a range of industrial doors and install though out the UK as well as service overseas contracts. We bring generations of engineering experience and pioneering product expertise to customers worldwide.

The role:
As an installation engineer, you will work as part of a nationwide team, travelling to various sites throughout the UK installing the full portfolio of HDS product range. In addition, the job will entail planned preventative maintenance and responsive repairs across our range of products.
The ideal candidate will come from a mechanical background, with basic electrical knowledge and have experience in a field-based role. Overnight stays and weekend works will be required. We will offer full training across our product portfolio, with the potential to grow within a highly innovative company.
The Candidate:
- Mechanical skill set background required, preferable in the industrial door sector.
- Electrical basic knowledge within the door sector preferred.
- Customer interfacing skills.
- UK clean Driving licence
- CSCS and /or SSSTS preferred.
- IPAF preferred.
- Fork truck skills card preferred.
- Aptitude for physical work.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic with a can-do attitude.
- Presentable at all times.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Installation & Commissioning of Hart Door System product range.
- Mechanical capabilities in repairing HDS range of doors.
- Fundamental electrical knowledge of door operation.
- Reading of drawings and technical instructions.
- Ability to work at heights from access platform.
- Compliance to construction site rules.
- Efficient planning capability of site visits to customers.
- Completing all customer visits accurately, timely and efficiently.
- Completion of all required job documentation via company phone/tablet.
