Job Title: Internal Resourcer / Recruiter

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne (Hybrid)

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000

As a Resourcer within TSG you will be expected to partner with stakeholders, supporting them in securing top talent for their roles. You will be a self-starter with a proactive approach, willing to go out to market and headhunt quality candidates using a variety of sourcing tools. You will be an advocate of our brand, passionately promoting the benefits of working for TSG. This role will involve taking ownership of full recruitment cycle for your roles, from creating adverts, to screening candidates, setting up interviews and processing offers. You will need to be highly organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

This position will be taking a hybrid approach, therefore you will be expected to attend our office in Newcastle upon Tyne a couple of times per week for regular team collaboration time.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

  • Work with stakeholders to understand a full thorough brief of each role and the person specification
  • Sift applications, telephone screen candidates and deliver shortlists along with candidate profiles as required
  • Use a variety of sourcing methods to headhunt talent, such as Job Boards and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Ensure that all documentation is completed for authorisation and processes are followed relating to recruitment, selection and appointment
  • Write adverts and assist hiring managers in writing job descriptions
  • Advise and lead in the provision of effective recruitment initiatives, reviewing their effectiveness and implementing change when required
  • Issuing offer letters, contracts and other documentation if required
  • Develop and maintain a ‘talent pool’ of potential candidates
  • Ensure the best use of Social Media to attract talent to the business and increase awareness of our brand

Knowledge, Skills & Experience;

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • A mixture of agency and in-house experience would be beneficial
  • Competent in the use of Boolean Searching
  • Knowledge and experience of using sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport and good working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Able to adapt to, embrace and lead change
