Job Title: Internal Sales Executive

Location: Leicestershire, LE16 7FS

Salary: £23,500 – £25,000/year base + Benefits (listed below)

Job Type: 1.00 to 5.15pm Mon – Thur, 1.00 to 4.30pm Fri, Permanent / Part-time.

Due to company expansion, we are seeking a Sales Executive to join our team. Candidates must be punctual, hardworking, enjoy being part of a small team and have excellent communication skills, basic computer knowledge of word and excel would be a benefit.

Duties will include but are not exclusive to:

  • Build quality relationships.
  • Prepare product quotations in line with customer requirements
  • Source and convert quality potential customers
  • Follow up on customer enquiries that have yet to convert to a sale
  • Follow and implement all procedures, legislative and regulatory rules
  • Effectively develop your sales area by proactively targeting market sectors.
  • Generating new enquires, converting existing projects into live orders.
  • Be the voice or our company, show a general interest in our products, act professionally at all times.

Looking for someone that has the below characteristics:

  • Track record of delivering high levels of achievement
  • GCSE Mathematics and English or equivalent
  • Strong customer service ethic with a passion for continuously improving the levels of service provided
  • Be a good team player and enjoy working in a team environment.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and establish trust with existing and new clients.
  • Ability to work in a structured way, independently and as a team member to achieve targets and deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience of managing and nurturing relationships with potential customers
  • Experience of working alone and managing own diary
  • Confident telephone manner
  • A strong attention to detail, with the ability to work quickly and accurately to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to deal with people at all levels
  • Strong organisational skills and a willingness to take ownership and accountability of work
  • Resilience & patience to deal with difficult situations.
  • Good time keeping

  • Happy personality
  • The successful candidate must be confident and willing to learn.
