Job Title: IT Manager (Internal & External)

Location: One Park Row, Leeds, LS1

Salary: Up to £45,000 (negotiable dependant on experience) + phone + laptop + bonuses (uncapped earning potential) + benefits

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

About the role:

As the IT Manager you will be an integral part of the Echo service model. With a background in commercial IT service, ideally with experience of the healthcare industry, your main remit would be to provide regulatory audit services, troubleshooting and support for our business clients. From the outset, you will be a hands-on technical expert, ultimately managing and developing a growing team of IT Support personnel.

Managing relationships with a growing client portfolio and ensuring first class delivery of services is essential. This will include working closely with key client contacts on several projects, including remote and onsite support.

Leading by example, you will be responsible for delivery of IT client services whilst reporting to and deputising for the IT Principal. You will be responsible for development, deployment, and administration of our internal IT systems.

Key duties include:

  • Management of all internal & external IT Support & Service systems
  • Client Portfolio and client service management
  • Mentor and develop skills within the IT Team as necessary
  • SLA Management
  • Customer facing as required, managing appointments via video call, providing remote and onsite support.
  • Leveraging wider internal relationships with other areas of the business
  • Focus is on the full Professional Services offering so a consultative style is essential
  • Overseeing the IT processes, policies and procedures ensuring business continuity from the IT perspective by managing both disaster recover and backup of internal systems and customers
  • Liaising with all internal departments to be able to cross-sell the full benefits and memberships of the business

Job Specifics:

This is a senior position and you will be working with the IT Principal to develop and progress the business plan. A host of skills including managerial, operational, strategy, IT and people skills are required to be considered for this position. Most importantly, the ability to provide solution oriented service with excellent professionalism and service that is best in its class.

About you:

  • 3+ years’ experience managing IT Support services in the corporate sector.
  • Detailed working knowledge and experience in the following:
    • Server & Desktop Management
    • Helpdesk systems and provision
    • Microsoft Operating Systems (Desktop and Server) including Active Directory
    • Experience of MS Azure, Azure AD, and Azure ADDS
    • Controlling and management of IT Assets (including software & hardware)
    • Microsoft application products including O365
    • Google workspace and the full suite of Google web based applications
    • VoIP Telephony and system management
    • Mobile device platforms including Android and Apple systems
    • IT Systems – design and implementation
    • Network and Server Management (Local/Cloud Based)
  • You will be client focussed, with a proven ability to deliver IT solutions and maintain high standards of quality at all times.
  • Self-motivated, driven and have a commitment to high personal performance with demonstrable success in exceeding targets.
  • A client service provider with excellence in mind.
  • You will have the ability to navigate large, complex organisations to benefit the relationship and maintain new business.
  • You’ll be intellectually curious and strive to understand everything you can about the market and customer requirements which is reflected in your provision of a comprehensive solution.
  • Excellent account management/planning skills.
  • Excellent Presentation skills, project management skills and familiarity with sales enablement tools.
  • Quality orientation, problem solving, strong analytical and presentation skills and strong interpersonal & communication skills.
  • A seasoned technical support person with experience in a Support Service capacity.
  • The blended ability to technically ‘lead from the front’ whilst at the same time holding people to account aligned with focused mentoring and development.
  • Strong data analytical skills with respect to ‘real world’ service level KPI’s and their subsequent translation and ongoing evolution into pragmatic and effective service solutions.
  • Experience of healthcare IT systems is a bonus.
