Job Title: 2nd Line IT Support Analyst

Location: London WC2R

Salary: £32,000

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Mon – Fri; 3 days 10:00-18:00, 2 days 10:00-19:00)

Role Overview:

You will be fairly autonomous and fully responsible for supporting the users for one of the company clients London sites.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conference Rooms; maintain the technology, assist users with connections, keep general cleanliness
  • Office Setups; Assist with preparing for new users including technology and office setups. Assist users with rearranging their offices if needs to ensure the technology is not broken in the process
  • Vendor Assistance; work with vendors who may need to come onsite and upgrade, repair, replace different technologies, grant access and escort to and from locked areas
  • Phone system; Work with their vendors to maintain, troubleshoot and repair the Avaya phone system
  • Client computing; Assist users with desktop computers, operating systems, applications, accessories, cell phones, etc
  • Printing; Assist users with printing, maintain supplies, facilitate repairs or replacements or damaged/faulty equipment
  • Remote Support; Be able to remotely assist UK users while they are out of the office
  • Inventory Management; ensure proper amount of spare equipment is available for users including laptops, adapters, accessories, etc. Ensure equipment is recorded in their asset tracking system
  • CCTV: Manage and monitor the CCTV system (on a Server)
  • Supplier and contract management

The Successful Candidate:

Experience

  • Strong background in customer service
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Experience with the following IT platforms
    • Office 365
    • Datto (awareness)
    • Microsoft Exchange 2010
    • Active directory 2010
    • Microsoft office 2003-2013
    • Windows / Windows 7/Windows 10
    • Microsoft server 2008 – 2016
    • TCP/IP
    • DNS/DHCP
    • Vmware administrator / Vsphere
    • Websense mail filter / Message Centre

Skills

  • Strong communicator with the ability to update others on progress made and issues faced
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, be self-motivated, and manage all projects and daily tasks in a high-pressure environment with little supervision
  • Exceptional customer service and delivery focus
  • Strong documentation skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport building, listening, and diagnostics
