Job Title: IT Technical Support Specialist

Location: Bracknell

Salary: £27,000 – £33,000 (Experience Dependant)

Job Type: Permanent, full time (42.5 hrs p/w)

The role:

We are looking for an IT Technical Support Specialist to join our small & friendly team to provide office-based telephone support.

The key technical skills required for this role include:

  • Windows and Mac Desktop Support, Servers, Networking, WIFI, CCTV, IP Telephony, Access Control

Candidates need to show experience with:

  • Windows 10/11, Mac OS, Active Directory, Office 365, Azure, MS SQL Server, Desktops, Laptops, Servers, Networking, DNS, Draytek Routers, TPLink Switches, Netgear Switches.

The role will be Monday – Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm with a working day of 8.5 hours including lunch.

Remote weekend support (on a rota basis roughly one weekend a month) will also be a part of your job with additional pay when working weekends.

Essential Requirements:

  • Education: A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
  • Experience: IT and networking: 2 years (required)

Ideal Requirements:

  • Our ideal candidate will be able to multi-task with excellent time-management and be expected to report back to senior management with an accurate account of outstanding support issues.
  • You will have experience of support ticketing systems and need to be customer focused and methodical.
  • You will also need to be smartly presented and have good communication skills.
  • Our modern office and shared facilities are based in Bracknell (close to the town centre) and we offer free onsite parking. Applicants must live within 30 minutes of our Bracknell office.
