Job Title: Joinery Draughtsperson – Solidworks
Location: Sittingbourne
Salary: £38 – £42K per year.
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Working Hours: This is a workshop-based office role, core hours of 40 per week Mon to Fri; some additional hours on evenings and weekends when essential to the seasonal needs of the business will be required.

At ESM we manage the design and build of exhibition spaces to create an engaging and memorable stand for our clients and their brand. All work is undertaken in house at our Kent headquarters by our experienced team who have been working on exhibition stands and trade fairs for a number of years, bringing both expertise and the latest trends to every project We produce some genuinely beautiful work; working on some fantastic projects for a number of agencies, but also a large volume of work for exhibitors looking to stand out at their events predominantly in the UK Our staff are tremendously proud of what we do, and this is a great chance to join a team that set the highest of standards and help us further improve the service we provide to our clients.
The Position:
ESM are seeking an experienced CAD draughtsperson, with a strong joinery background, and preferably proficient in Solidworks to join our growing team. You will be taking our conceptual designers for blue chip clients and producing working drawings for review and ultimately cutting sheets for the shop floor with manufacturing instructions. This is a crucial role for our business in that all our work flows through the setting out department, and the success of any project depends on the accuracy and thought behind the drawings that are produced.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate would have a technical production background with a solid grasp of carpentry and joinery techniques perhaps having progressed from the shop floor. Please note; we will only consider applicants with joinery/carpentry experience or long experience of producing drawings for these trades and with a great grasp of CAD.
