Lascar Electronics is a fast-growing international electronics business, with offices in the UK, USA and Hong Kong, specialising in the design and manufacture of data loggers, smart graphic displays and custom electronic products.
About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Buyer to join our busy and expanding purchasing team at our Old Sarum office. Working with our offices in Hong Kong and the USA, you will be responsible for buying components for high technology products and negotiating pricing and delivery with suppliers. You will ensure stock levels are maintained, scheduling orders as necessary and progressing purchase orders to ensure parts are delivered on time. No two days will be the same!
About you:
- You must have good numeracy and IT skills
- You must have great communication skills, both written and verbal
- You should be confident
- You should be meticulous with details
- You should have good planning and organisation skills
- Full training will be provided but a willingness to learn is key
