Job Title: Junior Service Engineer

Salary: Base salary up to £25,000 + overtime

At The Company, they are looking to recruit a keen enthusiastic individual to provide servicing, repairing, maintenance and installation of a range of hot melt and cold glue application equipment.
Primarily based at their factory in Basildon, the role also requires you to work on-site at customer locations in UK, Ireland and sometimes further afield.
Full on the job and supplier-based training will be provided.
After hands-on training at their factory and a period of on-the-job training, you would get to put your technical, mechanical and electrical skills to use in new and challenging situations while you interact with a wide variety of people, machines and settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing, repairing, maintenance and installation of a range of hot melt and cold glue application equipment, at their factory in Basildon and at their customers’ factories in the UK, Ireland and sometimes further afield
- Professionally representing two leading brands of industrial glue application systems
- You will work alongside experienced engineers to learn a wide range of skills and gain valuable experience
- Full on the job and supplier-based training will be provided
- There is the opportunity for the right person to take on increasing amounts of responsibility and be rewarded accordingly as the business expands
Key Requirements:
- Technical and electrical experience
- Basic understanding of tools and technology needed to complete repairs (they provide tools)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively via phone, e-mail and face-to-face
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good computer skills
- Be self-motivated with a flexible ‘can do’ attitude with the desire and willingness and ability to learn new skills
- Full, clean UK driving licence
