Job Title: Junior Sustainability Executive

Location: London, United Kingdom

Salary: £28K

Job type: Full Time / Permanent (37.5 hours. Mon-Fri. 9am to 5:30pm – or as the job requires)

About the role:

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Junior Recycling Engagement Officer to join our Sustainability Team in London. As a Junior Recycling Engagement Officer, you will play a crucial role in promoting and implementing recycling initiatives. Visiting sites around London to raise awareness and engage with clients to improve recycling rates.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on the commitments of Recorra’s ‘Recycling and Sustainability Roadmaps’ for our clients
  • Carry out engagement activities such as Recycling Improvement Strategies, Awareness
  • Stands, Beach Cleans and tours of our facility
  • Deliver presentations, workshops, and training sessions to educate and inspire individuals and groups on sustainable waste management practices
  • Collaborate internally to create engaging content to reach a wider audience and encourage participation
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to foster collaboration and drive recycling initiatives

The Candidate

Qualifications and Skills:

Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with and influence diverse audiences

Good organisational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines

Excellent interpersonal and networking skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
