Job Title: Key Account Executive

Location: Ridham, Sittingbourne, Kent

Salary: £25 – £30k plus dependant on experience

Job type: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week Monday – Friday)

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Key Accounts and Strategic Team as an Account Executive to assist the management and retention of Key Accounts. The role will involve facilitating development of accounts and communicating additional service offerings to clients, therefore experience of sales and account management is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the planning development and management of the increasing Key Account portfolio.
  • Monitor customers and where necessary, prioritise the customer site activities, proactively advise of any service delays and ensure any service changes are done to the customer’s requirements.
  • Monthly reporting and rebate analysis, duty of cares, preparation of proposals, conversion of sub-contractor quotations, customer quotations for fly tips, booking in service requests for third party collections and the reconciliation of invoices.
  • Analysing figures for tenders, trends regarding customer costs, cost forecast for projects and progressing customer towards the implementation of mechanical waste containers.
  • Respond to and follow up all enquiries using appropriate methods.
  • Monitor and report competitor activities, approaching the accounts within the portfolio.
  • Attend external customer meetings, assist in conducting full site audits to present the current situation on site and assist with presentations where necessary.
  • Liaise with internal staff and attend meetings as necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
  • Mentoring of the Sales Support Team to show the most effective way to obtain the information they need, booking on jobs for customers and duty of cares.

Essential skills

  • Experience of Account Management: 3 years
  • Sales: 3 years
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Effective communication
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • Ability to establish, maintain and develop relationships
