Job Title: Lettings Valuer – Ryder & Dutton

Location: Ashton

Salary: £26,000 per year, OTE £32,000 (commission + car allowance included)

Job type: Full-time, Permanent.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at our Ashton branch as a Full Time Lettings Valuer.

The Role:

  • As a Lettings Valuer you will be responsible for gaining new instructions from potential landlords. This involves advising of likely rental income and providing information about our Lettings services in a competitive environment.
  • You will be responsible for the preparation of marketing details for all properties that you list, which needs to be done in a timely manner in line with our company procedures.
  • Where necessary you may need to conduct viewings with a view to securing new tenants for properties available to let and conduct any other duties which may be necessary to ensure the continued and efficient running of the department.
  • The post will be based at our Ashton office covering Ashton, Saddleworth, Mossley and Glossop areas.

The role is full time Mon-Fri 9.00am – 5.30pm and alternate Saturdays 10.00am – 2.00pm.

The Candidate:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience of valuations in a property environment is essential, preferably within the Property Lettings industry.
  • You should have a good knowledge of the area to be able to appropriately advise potential Landlords about current market rents and potentials Tenants about local amenities.
  • You will be confident in dealing with the general public in person and over the phone and be a proven instruction winner.
  • As this role involves external appointments you must have a Full UK driving licence and your own vehicle which must be insured for business use.
