Job Title: Major Lift Repairs Supervisor

Location: Dartford

Salary: Competitive

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time (Monday to Friday – 8 am to 5 pm)

Liftec is a successful privately owned independent lift company providing maintenance and modernisation solutions to a variety of customers. They are currently looking for a reliable Repairs Co-Ordinator to join their team in Andover.

The Role:

Liftec Dartford is currently looking for a Major Repairs field Supervisor with experience in supervising major Lift repair works.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review and discuss labour allocation with Repairs Manager
  • Plan, prioritise and co-ordinate the workflow of the Repairs Engineers required to work within the budgetary constraints of the quoted works and ensuring quoted labour hours don’t over run
  • Plan sites surveys for works
  • Source and order parts in timely fashion and progress outstanding works orders
  • Be able to maintain accuracy of responsibilities despite breaks in the workflow to handle interruptions
  • Continuous maintenance of all processes necessary to the functioning of the Repairs Department including dealing with engineers’ requests materials or information on equipment
  • Prioritise workload to complete invoicing and administrative tasks in order to not to delay internal company processes

About you:

You will have NVQ3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent and the ability to follow lift manuals and diagrams, with a good knowledge of third party equipment.

DBS checked or the agreement to carry out such a check.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of people and use own initiative.

Flexible and adaptable approach towards work.

Essential Requirements:

  • Provide evidence of NVQ3 or equivalent in Lift Engineering (such as J modules)
  • Clean and valid UK driving license
  • Meet the Right to work in the UK requirements
  • Had previous responsibility in supervising teams and repair projects
  • Good people management skills
  • Display excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
