Job Title: Order Service Advisor – Warehouse

Location: Chester

Salary: 18,000 – 20,000 per annum

Job type: Full Time on 12-month Fixed Term Contract

A top-brand company in the Chester area are looking for an experienced Order Services Advisor looking to progress their career within a customer centric warehouse environment.

About the role

Your role function is to provide proactive, highly accurate support to the operations function in ensuring goods are receipted, warehouse goods are managed in a controlled way and provide excellent customer service with correct picking, packing and despatching of orders.

Key Duties:

Duties will include creating sales orders on the system, identifying the correct order process route, liaising with the Customer Service/Technical Support team for any order queries, packaging stock for customer orders, checking finished goods against sales orders, booking Courier collections and entering data onto supplier web portals for collection where needed. You will also ensure the local stock is managed in order to pick stock to fulfil orders and process returns. You will receive training in order to completing hearing aid programming, provide hearing aid service repair diagnostic and liaise with our European distribution centre.

About you:

You must have an outgoing enthusiastic personality, work efficiently as part of a team, be approachable and reliable. We expect you to be energetic, hard-working and have good interpersonal skill. You should be willing to learn new processes and be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst remaining flexible, friendly, and courteous at all times.

Previous Logistics experience in a warehouse/picking role with some knowledge of despatching orders is essential. Experience of stock management and warehouse/location management would be desirable.

Along with an exceptionally high level of attention to detail, you will need to have strong IT literacy skills (preferable with AX Dynamics/Microsoft Word/Excel) and excellent written and spoken English.
