Job Title: Machine Operative

Salary: £24,024 per year (£10.50ph) to £26,884 per year (£11.75ph) dependant on skills and experience

The Role:
To operate production equipment as effectively as possible and to contribute to the shift, meeting demands in terms of production, waste, quality, housekeeping and health & safety.
Working in Conversion 3 on 24/7 Rota (See Shift Pattern section)
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Meet production targets and customer deadlines
- Complete required production paperwork
- Complete daily checks
- Follow Safe Working Practices
- Adhere to Health & Safety and environmental procedures and regulations
The Person:
- Self-motivated and can work under pressure
- A can-do attitude, able to overcome obstacles with a team approach
- Ability to follow instructions
- Good practical skills
- Ability to work flexible hours on a continental shift pattern working through days, nights, and weekends.
Knowledge, Training and Experience required:
- Machine operator with previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment
- Health and Safety awareness
- Quality awareness
- Excellent attendance and timekeeping
Shift Patterns:
- 24/7 Rotating 4-week pattern, working rotating days and nights, hours from 07:00/19:00 to 19:00/07:00, including weekend working. Average 38.5 hour working week
