Kestrel Technologies Ltd is a family run business and have a wealth of experience in the following fields: Motorsport, Aerospace, Marine and Automotive. Producing aluminium mould tools, aluminium components, rohacell cores, rim tooling, vacuum forming tools, wind tunnel models, full size models, GRP moulds, holding & assembly fixtures and more.
We have the capability to machine the following materials: aluminium, rohacell foam, PU boards, epoxy boards, confor foam and more.
We are based in the southeast and have a total of six CNC machines 3 & 5 axis and 2 CMM machines.
We pride ourselves on having a quick turnaround, exceptional quality and most importantly delivery on time.
Key Requirements:
- Knowledge of CAM/CAD software Powermill/Powershape would be advantageous although training would be available to the successful applicant.
- Be fully skilled time served engineer with CNC experience
- Have experience of Setting and Programming CNC machinery
- Able to create, load, examine and modify CNC programmes
- Able to interpret engineering drawings and written/verbal instructions
- Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment
- Have a flexible, friendly and positive approach
Different rates of pay are available depending on skill level and based on a 38 hour week with overtime available at time and a half.
26 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays per year.
