We are a sharing community for holiday apartments. Together we own 56 resorts with over 5,000 holiday homes in popular destinations in Europe – by the sea, in the mountains or in cities. Why? Because we want to have a relaxed and responsible holiday.

Our Hapimag Resort London is located right by Hyde park. It reopened its doors in Mai 2021 after an extensive renovation and boasts 44 spacious 1-, 2- and 3-room apartments, an honesty shop and reception area. Each apartment has its own kitchenette, dining and seating area.

The role:

To review, evaluate, plan and take action to ensure the property reaches and maintains a high standard of maintenance and the effective operations of facilities within the resort ensuring an excellent service to both our internal and external customers.

A hands-on role responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the property including the internal inventory and health and safety of the building.

The Candidate:

  • Qualified trade background and/or previous experience within hotel maintenance
  • All round general maintenance skills to include plumbing, minor electrical work, painting and joinery/carpentry
  • Eye for detail
  • Ability to prioritize and work to deadlines
  • Good communication skills
  • Concern for quality of product and service
  • Passionate and enthusiastic with a positive approach

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for general day to day repairs within the property
  • Duties will include painting, general repairs, plumbing repairs, minor electrical work and joinery/carpentry
  • Working with the Housekeeping and Front of House departments to ensure maintenance faults are reported and resolved in a timely manner
  • Make sure that rooms and all other areas of the hotel are to be kept to a high standard of appearance
  • Responsible for following planned preventative maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Completion of routine daily/monthly/quarterly task lists
  • Management of external contractors on site
  • Adhere to H&S requirements to maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Arrange and monitor external contractors for major repairs or specialized maintenance
  • Order small expense items following purchase order procedures
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure cost targets are not exceeded
  • Keep accurate records of work undertaken
  • Maintain a tidy and safe workshop
  • Maintain a tidy and safe stock rooms and Refuse area
