Job Title: Management Accountant

Salary: £30,000 to £33,000 per annum

King Lifting is a growing and ambitious family business based in Avonmouth, Bristol, providing mobile crane hire and plant/machinery movement from depots across the south of England. We are proud of our name and reputation within the industry.
We are currently seeking a Management Accountant to be based at our Head Office in Avonmouth. The role will provide support to the senior finance team and be responsible for the development of management accounts, financials, cash flows, annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
Other duties will include:
- Audit preparatory work with appropriate reconciliations and info packs
- Improve and develop credit control procedures
- Assist in monthly reconciliation of invoice finance facility, together with ledger and cash book support
The ideal candidate will provide general finance support to the Senior Management Team, identify improvements, develop approved management accounting techniques and work on ad-hoc projects.
Experience Required:
- Currently working within an Accountancy role; qualified by experience will be considered
- Capable of working under own volition in support of the Finance Director and Senior Management Accountant
- Management and Financial Accounting Experience
- VAT / PAYE / Payroll experience
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with proactive approach to problem solving
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Process improvement experience
