Job Title: Management Information Analyst

Location: Kings Hill, Kent (there could be flexibility for the right candidate)

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum Depending on experience + Benefits

Position: Permanent, Full Time (Part Time hours may be considered)

The Role:

They are looking for a Management Information Analyst to assume overall responsibility for the collation, integrity and analysis of their data, producing reports and generating insights to help their Management Team manage the business effectively, better understand their customers’ businesses, identify opportunities, drive performance and develop future strategies.

This newly created role will be critical in supporting stakeholders to make sound business decisions, to inform both commercial and customer outcomes and identify strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements
  • Build and deliver robust MI reporting to provide oversight to key stakeholders to support trading and business decisions, including to enable the identification of key trends, spotting trading anomalies and working with the stakeholders to take action to support performance
  • Maintain a regular reporting schedule alongside ad hoc MI requests
  • Prioritising tasks and managing expectations where required
  • Using Excel to manipulate data from various data sources, updating existing reports and developing new or ad hoc reports upon request
  • Understand the business requirements and provide accurate and appropriate MI reports
  • Working under own initiative but as part of a team, taking responsibility for delivering MI & Analysis through accurate and timely data management and reporting
  • Review processes, suggest and implement improvements and solutions
  • Maintain the integrity of MI produced with detailed review and data cleansing to ensure all data and reports are accurate, current and consistent
  • Where required support Senior Managers with communication of the results of your data analysis
  • Build reporting solutions using the most appropriate technology available
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Key Requirements:

  • Exceptional user of Excel (VLOOKUPs, SUMIF, Pivot tables, Index Match)
  • Proven attention to detail particularly with numerical output
  • Outstanding reporting and analytical skills
  • Experience in handling competing priorities
  • Experience in tackling problems confidently and presenting solutions
  • Ability to work under moderate pressure
  • A passion for data quality and Management Information
  • Creative problem solving, analytical and strategic skill set
  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach to solving problems
  • Conscientious, hard working as well as flexible and adaptable
  • Experience within insurance claims services would be desirable, but not essential
  • Visual Basic for Applications & SQL desirable but not essential
