The Role

They currently have an exciting opportunity for two talented Senior Marketing Executives / Manager with B2B experience to join their thriving business.

You’ll be aligned to the individual divisions within the Group to enable you to develop an in-depth knowledge of the products and services as well as understand the needs of the specific target markets.

Software Division

The company author their own ERP and eCommerce solutions targeted at the stockist, distributor and wholesale sector. A key focus for this role in 2021 will be the launch of their new next-generation ERP software, Profit4.

IT and Cyber Divisions

They deliver a wide range of IT solutions, managed services and cyber security services to mid-size businesses in the UK private sector as well as some public sector organisations including the NHS, education and local Councils. This role requires someone with good experience in the IT and/or cyber sector as it requires a high level of understanding of the technology to be able to write content about technology products and services that is relevant to CTO and CISO level roles within their target market.

Key Requirements:

  • Brand management
  • Multi-channel marketing campaigns
    • Campaign planning, development and delivery
    • Content creation
    • Brief Graphic Designer on creative requirements
  • Digital marketing
    • Deliver digital advertising campaigns
    • Develop & manage social media content to support campaigns and drive traffic to the website
    • Maintain web content to optimise both user engagement as well as site optimisation for search rankings
    • Design & deliver targeted email campaigns including triggered and automated programs (DotMailer)
  • Event management
  • Work with PR agency to deliver regular, targeted PR coverage
  • Content development / authoring
    • Identify opportunities and work with Account Management teams and customers to produce well written, professional case studies & testimonials (written & video format)
    • Write regular blogs & guides – research topics and work with product specialists within the Group to create high level content
    • Contribute ideas for video content
  • Marketing & sales collateral
  • Market analysis / reporting
  • Customer communications
    • Work with customer-facing teams to create content such as training and support materials, and sales literature
  • Internal communications
  • Marketing projects
  • Planning & reporting
  • Vendor marketing & securing vendor funding (IT and Cyber division only)

About you:

Proven ability to:

  • Develop and deliver B2B multi-channel marketing campaigns, utilising both traditional and digital marketing techniques
  • Work with multiple stakeholders at various levels and present marketing ideas in a professional and confident manner
  • Plan and deliver successful events (physical and virtual)
  • Write engaging content suitable for a variety of mediums such as media (PR), company website(s) and social media channels, as well as marketing campaigns and customer newsletters
  • Produce first-class marketing materials for both print and online

As well as:

  • Experience of working within the Software, IT and/or cyber sectors
  • Strong skills in MS Office, in particular Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Illustrator)
  • Impeccable English grammar and spelling accuracy
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects often to tight deadlines
  • Highly motivated, can demonstrate initiative, and communicates with flair
  • Service driven and professional with an organised and enthusiastic approach
  • Used to working to targeted KPIs
  • Full driving licence (as travel offsite is sometimes required)
  • Marketing qualification to Degree level, or equivalent CIM diploma, or minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
