Job Title: Commercial Mechanical Engineer

Location: Greater London

Including the Home Counties, CM8 3YY

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (Experience Dependant)

Job Type: Permanent, full time (40 hours) Mon-Fri

ONE Environmental Ltd are mechanical and compliance service provider. Delivering PPM, reactive and projects works across London and the surrounding counties. Due to contract wins and organic growth we now require additional plumbing and mechanical engineers to join our expanding team.

Candidates must have the right to live & work in the UK and have experience working in the UK.

About the role:

The successful candidate must demonstrate a working knowledge of and a proven experience in maintaining, fitting or carrying out repairs to commercial heating and cooling systems as well as domestic hot and cold water services. You will be expected to carry out works where required and ensure all projects are completed to a high standard whilst maintaining the schedule. Overtime is expected as requirement of the role including evenings/nights/weekends but no minimum requirement set.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • You will be required to work as part of a team and be confident working alone to carry Out reactive plumbing, PPM and project works.
  • Compiling comprehensive quotes for your account manager to present to the client.
  • To write comprehensive, detailed reports upon completion of your work. These reports
  • are communicated back to the client
  • Planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs in residential and commercial environments.
  • Efficiently maintain and repair al types of plumbing systems.
  • Work safely adhering to Health and Safety procedures

Essential Requirements:

  • Plumbing/Pipe fitting: 2 years.
  • G3 Unvented.
  • Qualified City and Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Previous commercial plumbing experience using pressfit tools, pressure plastics and pipe threading.
  • Legionella awareness (desirable).
  • Unvented hot water qualification (desirable).
  • Own hand tools (specialist power tools are provided).
  • Positive attitude, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of Building Maintenance and servicing.
  • Full driving licence.
  • 8 hour shift Monday – Friday.
  • CSCS (preferred)
