We are currently seeking a dynamic and organised individual to join our team as a Membership Administrator. Responsibilities:

As the Membership Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our club. Your responsibilities will include:

Office Duties:

  • Managing reception, including answering telephone enquiries.
  • Monitoring and replenishing stationary stock as needed.
  • Maintaining a tidy and presentable office environment.
  • Efficiently archiving club-related documents.

Membership Duties:

  • Assisting in marketing efforts to attract new members.
  • Facilitating the onboarding of new members.
  • Managing the departure process for leaving members.
  • Handling changes to individual memberships with precision.
  • Monthly management of member direct debits.
  • Locker allocation, billing and maintenance coordination.
  • Providing comprehensive support to ensure an exceptional member service experience.
  • Organising and overseeing presentation evenings, AGM (Annual General Meeting), and membership renewal processes.
  • One day each month, either on a Saturday or Sunday, dedicated to meeting, greeting, and assisting members.

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Reconciling member income bank accounts.
  • Collaborating with auditors during financial audits.
  • Assisting with stocktaking processes.
  • Internal match and competition charging.

General Support:

  • Offering support to the General Manager, Club Operations Manager & Finance Manager in various tasks and projects as required.
  • Competition administration:
  • Manage entries and fees for the club open competitions.
  • Administrative support on the day of open competitions.

The ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in office software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities effectively.
  • Financial acumen and the ability to handle financial transactions accurately.

This role is part time working 30 hours over 5 days.
