Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Cleaning Manager the role will be responsible for undertaking cleaning duties in accordance with the applicant’s experience. To be always punctual and professional, offering competent, high quality cleaning services to the Company’s clients.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Undertake Carpet stain removal / clean when required
- Undertake general cleaning & jet washing duties when required.
- Deliver equipment to cleaners at contracted sites.
- Provide annual leave cover for cleaners within the company
- Undertake general cleaning tasks as instructed by the company
- Make use of the Company Van for work purposed only, driving within the laws of the road and with consideration to others.
- To always wear the company’s uniform during working hours.
- Always comply with the company’s Health & Safety Policy.
Person Specification
Essential:
- Previous cleaning experience
- A Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised, methodical and punctual
- An ability to multi-task and possess strong prioritisation skills
- Can demonstrate high customer focus and time management skills
- Able to work independently and take responsibility for own actions
- To be flexible, well presented, self-motivated and be able to use initiative
- Ideally living within a 30-minute drive of Barnet
Equipment to be provided:
- Appropriate commercial vehicle, which includes servicing, tyres, and fuel (card to be provided). The vehicle will be wrapped with the company logo and therefore consideration should be applied when always using this vehicle, as poor or dangerous driving reflects poorly on the company
