Job Title: Mobile Vehicle / LCV Technician
Location: Essex
Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 (dependent on experience) + overtime
Job type: Full Time, Permanent. 40 hours per week.
Relyon Automotive specialises in the maintenance of emergency service, passenger transport and fleet vehicles. Since being established in 2019 we have been providing a range of services across a variety of different vehicles around Essex and surrounding areas. We are currently a small team, but growing extremely fast and now looking for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join the team!
About the role:
Due to rapid growth, Relyon Automotive is now hiring a Mobile Vehicle / LCV Technician to join the team at our shop in Essex. Along with having proven experience, the ideal candidate will be dedicated to the team and in their commitment to providing a high standard of service to our customers across the board. They will ideally have experience working in a similar mobile position that required on-road work.
Responsibilities:
- Repair on ambulance and fleet vehicles.
- Ensure customer satisfaction in the service and repair of motor vehicles of all types.
- Carry out servicing and repairs in a safe and economical manner.
- Test vehicles and diagnose faults as and when required.
- Maintenance on vehicles.
- Ensure Manufacturer and Company compliance with all administration standards and procedures.
- Ensure that all work carried out is to MOT and/or manufacturers’ safety standards.
- Ensure maximum use of technical knowledge and skills to achieve effective, economic and safe service/repair of customers’ vehicles.
Skills Required:
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 Maintenance and Repairs.
- Experience of working on LCV & Cars (min. 5 years).
- Able to work mobile, on the road.
- A strong knowledge and understanding of routine servicing and basic mechanical repairs.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team in a competent, safe and efficient manner.
- Ability to accurately complete paperwork with high attention to detail in a timely manner.
- Proactive and results driven across all aspects of work.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Over 25 years old.
