Job Title: Operations Administrator

Location: Avonmouth

Salary: Competitive salary depending on experience

Job type: Full Time. Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.30pm

King Lifting is a growing and ambitious family business based in Avonmouth, Bristol, providing mobile crane hire and plant/machinery movement from depots across the south of England. We are proud of our name and reputation within the industry.

We are actively seeking an experienced Administrator to join our busy general crane hire desk.

Duties will include:

  • Managing the arrangement of resources required for each order.
  • Using IT systems/software to complete administrative processes in a timely manner including raising contracts, job sheets, operator tickets, timesheets.
  • Organise site visits.
  • Dealing with daily sales enquiries to new and existing customers.
  • Chasing debtors and overdue payments.
  • Dealing with local authorities and traffic management companies managing road closures and permits.

Essential:

  • You must have the right to work in the UK and live within a commutable distance of Avonmouth.
  • You must have a minimum of 2 years’ proven administration experience.
  • You should have a good standard of education.
  • You must have a positive and ‘can-do’ attitude with high attention to detail and excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • You must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook.

Desirable:

  • Working administration experience on a Hire Desk or within the construction, crane or plant industry.
