About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small dedicated team to provide professional, OD specialist advice and work closely with managers, employees and senior stakeholders on a wide range of people issues such as attraction and retention, workforce planning, talent development, management and leadership development, and employee wellbeing.
Main Accountabilities:
You will also provide support on major change programmes, including Local Government Reorganisation (local councils in North Yorkshire to be reorganised to form one council across the whole of the county).
You will be looking for an opportunity to use your experience to make a real contribution, be able to develop excellent working relationships and utilise your creative skills to enable you to work effectively and support the delivery of our People Strategy. You will have high levels of emotional intelligence, the ability to influence and work in a compassionate and inclusive way.
You need to be highly organised, MCIPD qualified and have experience of OD/HR working at a senior level as well as operating in a complex organisation. You will also be aligned to our values and behaviours and feel comfortable and confident in displaying these in your day to day working.
