Job Title: Palletforce Co-Ordinator (Warehouse / Logistics Co-Ordinator)

Location: Wimblington

Salary: Starting from £24,000 P/A

Job type: Monday to Friday, Saturday 1:3 rotation.

The Role:

Assist with the smooth running of the Palletforce team by ensuring timely and accurate preparing and delivering of all stock on a supply and need basis including the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of all products.

Through use of both company and external systems act as a point of contact for internal teams within warehousing and transport operations teams and ensure that processes and systems productivity targets are met. Take an active role in the direction and delivery of all stock, to ensure best practice methods are used. Overseeing the maintenance of administration and driver planning systems to achieve own accountabilities and optimum operational performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in a logistics or warehouse-based role.
  • Strong PC based knowledge including an intermediate or knowledge of Excel spread sheets and web-based systems.
  • Good communication skills: Responds to enquiries via telephone and email, providing support for both internal and external contacts.
  • Confident individual with the ability to think quickly on your feet and confidently make decisions and can challenge when the need arises and at the appropriate level.
  • Reliable in approach to work and adaptable to fit into different teams and environments.
  • Highly organised, self-sufficient and able to work on own initiative, to tight deadlines and flexible in your approach to work and hours.
  • Must have own transport, full UK driving licence and ability to travel to work.

Accountable KPI’s

  • Customer Service – To ensure all deliveries are delivered on time in full and relay any issues back to our customers in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure all driver paperwork is processed within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Customer Service level.
  • Budget control.
  • Alliance system management & completion.
  • Performance Management of team.
