Job Title: Partnerships Manager

Salary: Up to £45K

Job Type: Fixed term contract for up to 7 months, covering maternity leave

Our partners range from large multichannel or pure-play retailers, to international travel and entertainment brands, to domestic businesses with transactional websites. Through the promotion of our membership programmes (via banners on their confirmation pages), we empower our partners to drive incremental revenue whilst building stronger relationships with their customers.

About The Role:

The Partnerships Manager will have a hands-on, highly responsible client-facing role. You will be working closely with Senior Managers and Directors on the team, and managing and servicing a portfolio of Webloyalty partnerships and enhancing their long-term value.

We have an absolute dedication to delivering best in class account management, whilst operating in a friendly environment that promotes transparency and knowledge share. This is a diverse and demanding role, requiring a unique blend of commercial, analytical and online marketing/operational skills. This role would suit someone who is looking to actively enhance their existing skill set and is open to learning new skills such as the latest developments in ad-serving and multivariate testing.

Relationship Management:

The primary objective is to effectively manage client relationships in order to retain clients and enhance client profitability, whilst demonstrating a thorough understanding and responsiveness to client priorities and needs.

  • Empathising with and responding to client needs efficiently and effectively
  • Managing regular contact and assigned calls with clients
  • Supporting the Senior Partnership Managers on tier 1 clients
  • Preparing and presenting at quarterly client review meetings
  • Working with internal and client-side stakeholders the client optimization strategy

Reporting and Analysis:

Here the key task is to perform high-level and detailed data analysis across multiple marketing channels and create summary and detailed reports and presentations to support the business owner’s decision process.

  • Provide consistent, accurate and timely reporting and analysis (e.g. generate daily, weekly and monthly reports for delivery to clients where required)
  • Create and analyse various reports using Cognos, SAS and Webloyalty’s bespoke suite of tools
  • Project client revenue forecasts
  • Analyse campaign data and trends
  • Work with Finance to validate and reconcile data and client reporting
  • Work with teams to identify and close data gaps in order to resolve data integrity issues

Campaign Management:

The team has a dedicated ad ops team that deploy most of the campaigns, however you will need to have a comprehensive knowledge of campaign deployments, how to launch new client assets and liaise with partners to facilitate campaign maintenance and integrity. They will also work with our marketing team to implement and/or track and analyse on-going multivariate testing across multiple channels including Web, app and email. Full training will be given on Google Campaign Manager (formerly known as DoubleClick) and internal systems.

  • Use of Google Campaign Manager, Salesforce, Jira and Confluence to complete everyday tasks
  • Troubleshooting as required, which includes testing, system troubleshooting and working with tech to find and resolve issues
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to sell in new ideas

About You:

  • Strong Account Management experience with digital/online/e-commerce/affiliate network background subscription, membership and/or continuity club experience valued
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrable ability to bond with clients and nurture on-going relationships
  • Highly proficient at creating and delivering client presentations
  • Numerate and confident with conducting analysis with a logical approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work well with business users in gathering requirements and interpreting them in order to meet the user’s business needs, including understanding technical concepts and explaining them to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Skill Set (not obligatory):

  • Experience in affiliate marketing account management, network side, would be advantageous
  • Experience with online reporting packages preferred e.g. SAS (functional experience is more important than technical expertise) as well as generally tech savvy
  • Working knowledge Google Campaign Manager (or similar ad serving environment)
