The Role

Based just 8 miles outside of Newquay, our Cornwall office is the Moose Toys UK and European Hub. In the past 18 months we have experienced considerable growth and opportunity and, as we continue to expand and invest in our strategic plans, we are excited to be further developing our People & Culture (P&C) team.

With dual responsibility for Front of House and People & Culture Administration you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support that ensures the efficient day to day running of Moose Toys.

Key Duties:

  • Support with a full range of front of house duties to include being the first point of contact for all visitors, managing the reception area and shared office facilities, managing day to day office supplies, purchasing and re-stocking all amenities, responsible for sorting and distributing company mail, assisting with visitors, suppliers, customers, and deliveries.
  • People & Culture administration duties to include project research, management of our employee benefit schemes and our reward and recognition programs, on-boarding of new starters, health and safety support, meeting scheduling, database management, record filling, management of department invoices and liaising with a variety of departments on a global scale.
  • Global travel coordination providing all Itineraries, bookings and support for internal and external customers. To include flights, visas, hotels, trains, taxis and dinner reservations. Keep accurate travel records, ensure all parties are kept informed through clear communications, and ensuring all bookings are in line with set budgets. Build and maintain relationships with local hotels, suppliers, contractors and other persons involved with Moose Toys.
  • Actively plan and execute the coordination of all social events, Christmas parties, lunch meetings, corporate entertainment arrangements for visitors, charity events and other events throughout the year. Ensure all events run smoothly, are in line with set budgets and most importantly supports our Superhappy family culture of Moose!

Experience and Qualification:

We cannot wait to welcome an enthusiastic, passionate new team member who’ll bring the WOW and the Superhappy to Moose! We are keen to hear from those who can demonstrate the following:

  • Proven experience of working in a similar customer centric, Administrator or Coordinator position
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Stimulated by working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Highly collaborative with experience of supporting multiple teams
  • Communicates confidently, expressing information and key points with clarity
  • Health and Safety knowledge (risk assessments, fire safety procedures) would be highly advantageous
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with a diversity of people is essential
  • Willingness to resolve anomalies through investigation, proactive problem solving and solution solving
  • Strong team player with excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and familiar with always maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information
  • Excellent computer literacy to include Outlook, Power Point, Excel and use of in-house systems
  • A passion for embracing challenge and using initiative to problem solve and contribute to a variety of people-focused projects.
