About the role:
The People and Talent Manager will work within the XCM Leadership team to support the achievement of a customer focused culture & to promote a progressive environment.
The People & Talent function is a valued appointment who will support the company growth plans by recruiting, developing & supporting the retention of our people. Plus, support the business strategy for the future.

Job Purpose
The People & Talent Manager will be responsible for supporting staff at all employment life-stages. The ‘go to’ person for all HR matters, creating & maintaining an attractive & supportive environment. The voice & face of ‘people and talent’ promoting positively to all internal & external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Staff Recruitment
- Communicate the XCM “People and Talent” proposition to all stakeholders across all channels
- Manage all vacancies with Managers Partners & Suppliers
- Manage all candidate selection processes, budgets & documentation
Career Development
- Manage all staff inductions with line Managers
- Support staff performance by leading the objectives & appraisal process
- Manage all staff retention initiatives
- Manage learning & training requirements
People & Talent Responsibilities
- Manage all staff related company policies, procedures & guidelines
- Nurture the company culture through Core Values & Behaviours
- Develop & implement the HR plans aligned to the business objectives
- Manage a healthy workplace & support staff wellbeing
- Coach Line managers re HR legislation & best practices
- Keep the Directors abreast of Developments in HR re CIPD
- Ensure all staff ‘contracts of employment’ & the Company handbook are up to date
