Job Title: Performance Auditor (3 positions available – 2x perm & 1x 12 month FTC)
Location: Cardiff, Penllergaer or Abergele depending on your location
Salary: £40,071 – £46,515 – starting at the minimum of band
Benefits: 33 days holiday entitlement per annum plus 8 days public holidays, Civil Service Pension Scheme (MyCSP), purchasing or selling annual leave. Subject to eligibility, travel allowance of £3,350

The Role:
Do you want to help improve public services across Wales? They have vacancies for Performance Auditors, two permanent roles, and one role on a temporary basis for 12 months, in the local government team, which audits the public services that used each day in Wales.
Their workers come from a variety of backgrounds and this is an exciting opportunity to inform the public on how services are being delivered.
The successful candidates will undertake a variety of work including:
- Contributing to the design, scope and focus of work
- Setting up and coordinating work
- Research and data collection and analysis
- Delivering fieldwork including interviews, surveys and document review
- Supporting and facilitating internal and external meetings, including those to determine review questions or the conclusions arising from our work
- Preparing records of evidence, drafting reports and presentations
- Presenting findings to audited bodies
- Keeping electronic records up to date
- Candidates who are CCAB qualified will also undertake financial audit work as part of the role.
