Job Title: Pipefitter/Welder
Location: Paisley
Salary: Negotiable.
Job type: Full Time – Permanent. Candidates must be willing to work regular overtime (weekend & evenings) which is paid at a premium rate.
Direct Engineering specialise in hygienic pipework systems within food and beverage process plants but also carry out other various types of pipework installation. Direct Engineering are looking for an experienced Pipefitter/ welders.
The candidate should be able to read off drawings and P&ID’s. A variety of skills will be needed as this is a small, but growing, company and therefore the successful candidate must be versatile and able to multitask.
The Role:
- Installation, removal and repair of pipework, tanks and pumping systems.
- Problem solving.
- Commissioning of installations.
- Experience and qualifications required.
- Operate at all times in line with ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 procedures.
Experience Required:
- Food and Beverage plants experience.
- Pipe fitting experience in steel threaded and welded pipe.
- Skilled in TIG welding processes (Welders).
- Full, clean driving licence.
- CSCS/Safety Passport.
- Experienced or capable of working to high standard of QHSE requirements.
