About the role:
To carry out plumbing works as well as other, associated multi-trades within domestic and commercial properties. This will involve working with all types of plumbing issues that may be found in such properties. Ordinarily, works will be related to insured building repairs and be located at properties within an approximate 50-mile radius of Stevenage, Hertfordshire. The majority of the works will be all types of plumbing issues etc. Domestic household pipework, fault finding and solving issues with water tanks, replacing taps/shower valves, and identifying and resolving leaks etc. this job will require other skills therefore experience and knowledge in other trades are strongly preferred.
Carry out basic building-related trade activities to assist with the smooth progression of plumbing works. This will include the cutting out of worktops for installation of sinks, refixing of boxing in/ducting, removal and replacement of timber flooring, and the execution of small quantities of ceramic wall tiling, floor tiling and painting works.
About you:
- You will be experienced and/or qualified in your chosen field. As the work is varied a flexible approach is required to meet changing needs and tight deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills, enthusiasm, and a ‘can do’ attitude is all essential as you’ll be our ambassador when you visit our customers’ homes to carry out repairs and installations to the highest of standards.
- You will liaise with residents, peers, and colleagues on a daily basis so communication and customer focus will be essential to the role. Organisational, customer service, time management and physical skills are key to this role.
What you will bring as a Multi Plumber:
- Qualified to an NVQ 2 level (or equivalent) in Plumbing or able to demonstrate the level of skills and experience required to be successful in the role – must be able to provide proof.
- Experience in domestic Plumbing as well as experience in completing other trade work within residential settings.
- As the work is varied a flexible approach is required to meet changing needs and tight deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills, enthusiasm, and a ‘can do’ attitude is all essential as you’ll be our ambassador when you visit our customers’ homes to carry out repairs and installations to the highest of standards.

- Motivated in your approach to work, and able to work to individual output targets.
- Possession of a full current UK Driving licence.
