Job Title: Pre-16 Coordinator

Location: Highbury, Portsmouth

Salary: £24,023 – £25,293 (Full-Time Equivalent)

Job Type: 15 Hours per week, 40 Weeks per year, Part-Time, Permanent

About the role:

Reporting to the Assistant Principal, the Pre 16 Co-Ordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of a designated curriculum area at City of Portsmouth College. The post holder will ensure all duties are effectively undertaken to deliver a high-quality service to our students and schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee the day-to-day operational management of the Pre 16 provision at the college
  • To ensure that all individual team members personal work complies with college standards and is carried out properly, effectively and within deadlines
  • To lead through your duties and position to be a role model for best practices and standards for your team
  • To be responsible for managing the student and other stakeholder experience and journey
  • To liaise with other internal departments to ensure all members of the team have all required mandatory training at the start of their employment and refreshed on an annual basis

To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you:

  • A good standard of basic education (Maths and English GCSE pass or equivalent)
  • Educated to at least level 3
  • Recent evidence of relevant professional development activities
  • Experience of Pre 16 provision and working with schools
  • Experience of working with external partners and building excellent relationships
  • Track record of growing student numbers
