Job Title: Procurement Manager

Location: Cambridge

Salary: £35,333 – £40,931 per year.

Job type: Permanent, Full time.

Please note this opportunity has the flexibility to be based at either the Cambridge or Chelmsford Campus.

The Role:

Financial Services offers a challenging and interesting environment for self-motivated individuals seeking to develop their careers in finance. As a Procurement Services Manager you will be working with a friendly, professional and highly focused team reporting to the Deputy Head of Procurement. You will be responsible for managing a wide range of Procurement activities. This will involve building strong relationships with stakeholders, working collaboratively to develop and improve the Procurement process. This role offers a challenging and interesting environment to work in, providing the opportunity for individuals seeking to develop their careers in a finance environment.

Candidate Requirements:

With a relevant degree, and / or professionally qualified (MCIPS), you will be able to demonstrate proficiency in Public Sector procurement. You will have managed complex Procurement processes and have an understanding of relevant regulations and procedures with the ability to provide recommendations.

As a highly organised individual your role will plan and deliver on deadlines. Possessing strong analytical and interpersonal skills you will build a strong network of connections and influence. You will be IT literate with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and an interest in learning new procurement and financial information systems.
