The Role:

We are looking for a passionate Product Owner to work with key internal and external stakeholders to proactively identify and gain access to data sources, transform these into the suitable format for loading into business intelligence databases to drive company-wide dashboard reporting for internal and client/partner use.

You will conduct full lifecycle activities including requirements analysis, design and

Development and maintenance of data integration and reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will work closely with management and internal stakeholders to define and prioritise business and information needs and then proactively source the data whether from internal systems, clients/partners and third-party data providers to meet these.
• Engage directly with data management functions within client/partner and third-party organisations to gain access to the required information in the correct format. Collate information in excel and other suitable formats from multiple data sources including clients, partners, third parties and operational and commercial teams Interpret data, analyse results using data manipulation and statistical techniques to drive Business information systems
• Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets Filter, clean and reformat data as required prior to loading into data bases Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize collection and usage of data and maximise data quality.
• Prepare reports based on analysis and presenting to management using industry standard business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
• Identify, define and implement process improvement opportunities.
• Work closely with Product and Technology teams to define and develop reporting tools and data exports where necessary

The Candidate:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adapt at queries, report writing and presenting findings
• Advanced knowledge and experience of using Excel for manipulation and analysis of large datasets.

Experience:

• Proven working experience as a Product Owner on data projects
• Advanced experience in Excel and familiarity in at least one relational database (e.g. SQLServer, MySQL)
• Familiarity with one or more BI Tools (e.g. Power BI, BigQuery etc).
• Experience in managing data protection and data ownership issues
• Experience of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques
• Experience in production of clear graphical representations and data visualisations
• You will ideally come from a digital, media, broadcasting or advertising background
