Job Title: Production Administrator

Location: Romsey

Salary: £20,000 – £22,000 per annum pro rata (based on experience)

Job type: Full Time – Monday – Friday, 9:00-5:30 (including a 1-hour lunch)

The role:

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Production Administrator. BPC Energy Ltd is an independently owned international corporation, offering an established and effective range of power protection products, services and sells to a very broad spectrum of industries and sectors.

This role will primarily involve supporting the Production Supervisor to organise the administrative areas of the UK manufacturing facility. It is important the right candidate has strong IT, and communication skills both written and verbally.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Filter incoming Production calls
  • Aid Production Supervisor with production Diary.
  • Monitor and keep all equipment calibrations up to date.
  • Book in all serial numbers into the Manufacturing software
  • Organise the ordering of parts for production
  • Organising all delivery notes / test sheets
  • Aiding the overseeing of the stock take barcode system
  • Checking correct pricing of components from suppliers.
  • Checking and monitoring of Suppliers, and supplier lead times.
  • Oversee production pictures and allocate into correct files.
  • Ensuring all production files are closed off with correct information.
  • Monitor returned units requiring repair.
  • To ensure that the company’s profile and image is maintained at the highest standard at all times.
  • To perform any other duties as instructed from time to time by any Director of the company or by the Service Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Good time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong written, listening and oral communication sales skills.
  • Solution orientated with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent time management
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
