Job Title: Production Engineer
Location: Bolton
Salary: £30,000 to £34,000 Per Annum (Paid Monthly)
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Working Hours: 38 Hours per week, Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:00 and Friday 07:30 to 12:50 (No Weekends).
About the Role:
Reporting to the Engineering and Technical Manager you will work collaboratively with our production Engineer and the wider production team.
You be responsible in providing technical and direct costing support and manufacturing jigs and tools, whilst supporting new product development.
Identifying and driving ways of continued quality improvement as well as addressing any quality issues.
Carrying out maintenance repairs as and when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical & Design Engineering support to production
- Maintain Records of tool and drawing registers
- Identify and improve the quality service by evaluating systems and devising new processes as appropriate
- Liaising with customers on new and existing products
About you:
- HNC/HND/BTEC (or Equivalent in a suitable Engineering/Technical or Mechanical Discipline)
- Two years proven work experience in a previous Production/ Manufacturing setting
- Experience of Lathe and milling machines
- Strong IT Skills, MS works, excel
