Job Title: Production Operative

Salary: £10.90 – £11.35 depending on shift with room for progression.

Fine Decor Wallcoverings Ltd is a leading Wallcoverings and Décor products supplier based in Congleton, Cheshire and part of the Brewster group whose offices are in Boston, USA.
The Role
We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives that will report to the Production Supervisor and help support the Production Team. The successful candidate will have work experience in a similar role or Production/Printing environment and be able to start asap.
Working within the Production Department this role is responsible for ensuring the product quality consistently meets & exceeds customer specifications and production targets are consistently met by focusing on continual process improvement.
There will also be the opportunity to progress into Gravure Printer or Colour Mixer roles for the right candidate.
The successful candidates will ideally have work experience in a similar role working within a Production environment. Other key skills required are:
- Excellent observational skills are essential
- The ability to work well under pressure
- The ability to use own initiative and resolve any problems that may arise
- PPT/FLT/Bendi license would also be an advantage but not essential
- The ability to work as part of a team and function alone without direct oversight
- The ability to prioritize daily tasks to maintain efficiency and housekeeping standards
- Good time management skills with the ability to multi task.
These are permanent roles working 12 hour shifts (an average of 36 hours a week). Shifts run days and nights Monday – Friday a week on a 5 rotating shift pattern.
