Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Pontefract
Salary: £22,000 – £26,000 per annum D.O.E
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

A vacancy has arisen at Dempsey Dyer for a Production Supervisor within our UPVC factory. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising within a manufacturing environment with an advantage if this experience has been gained in window manufacturing.
The Role:
- Main responsibilities:
- Supervise the end to end manufacturing areas of the factory.
- Develop a multi-skilled, flexible workforce.
- Ensure safe running of the area whilst maintaining quality and efficiencies.
- Assist with creating standard operating procedures and ensure these are followed.
- Implement any improvements highlighted through the non-conformance reporting system.
- Conduct meetings engaging and updating the workforce daily.
- Work with the factory manager to report any skill gaps and implement cross skilling where needed.
- Assist with RAMS for all processes in the factory
The Candidate:
- Supervisory experience within a fabrication environment is preferable.
- Good communication skills
- Positive and flexible attitude
