Job Title: Project Delivery Officer (Battery Workforce Training Initiative)

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £56,021 – £59,421 per annum – SS10

Job type: Fixed Term (until the end of March 2025), Full-time

University College Birmingham works in partnership with the University of Warwick – Ranked eighth in the 2023 Guardian League Tables and 10th in the UK in the QS World University rankings 2023.

The Role:

University College Birmingham has been awarded funding to develop the Battery Workforce Training Initiative in the West Midlands region.

This is an exciting project which brings together an inspirational partnership including Warwick Manufacturing Group and Cranfield University and endorsements from companies such as Jaguar Land Rover.

To assist the University in this endeavour, you will be developing, delivering, and tracking the development of the project. In addition, you will ensure we have timely reviews and effective evaluation as the project progresses to achieve the project’s goal and objectives. Experience as an effective and efficient project co-ordinator is essential for this role.

The core aim of this project is to:

  • Develop innovative approaches to battery workforce development
  • Develop innovative approaches to outreach which will attract diverse talent to careers in the battery industry
