What is a Project Manager?

At ORCHA, our Project Managers are responsible for supporting the business in assessing processes, gathering requirements for large programmes of work, and documenting in Asana and Confluence. Our Project Managers use a combination of quality improvement approaches and Project Management skills across our core business areas.

Key Duties:

  • Work with the Senior Leadership Team and the wider teams to deliver service excellence.
  • Analyse, develop and implement current and new business processes and practices to ensure scalable and repeatable processes.
  • Liaise with appropriate teams to ensure efficiency across the service is achieved as well as within individual project workstreams.
  • Advise Programme leads or stakeholders on key business process risks and issues impacting the project, providing workable solutions as required.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Gather requirements for projects and processes from key stakeholders and communicate these effectively and timely. This also includes working with external stakeholders to understand and investigate feedback into the service, function, or product provided.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and where relevant create user stories and acceptance criteria and perform User Acceptance Testing of development work.
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps as and when required.
  • Demonstrate excellent understanding of the way the organisation works and the sector it operates within.
  • Produce written documentation and weekly highlight reports on your findings and present to stakeholders as and when necessary.
  • Track project performance and carry out lessons learnt, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term projects.

What do you need to be successful for the role?

  • 2 years’ project management experience within a Digital or Healthcare company
  • Industry recognised Project Management qualification
  • Proven track record of leading projects and tasks
  • Experience of working in a digital or healthcare environment
  • Outstanding analytical skills and demonstrated academic achievement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience of managing complex relationships and the ability to talk and present to a range of audiences.
  • The ability to work under pressure on multiple projects within your project timeframes.
  • Participation in successful change management and quality improvement programmes.
  • Excellent client-facing and Internal communication skills
  • Problem solving skills, with the ability to be flexible in your approach to work
  • A committed work ethic, with enthusiasm to develop your skills and a drive to learn
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to adapt to changes in the work environment
