The Role:

In this role you will be you will be responsible for testing websites, apps and web applications across multiple projects that are in development for a range of our clients. Performing a wide variety of manual testing activities including but not limited to functional, system integration, regression and exploratory testing across multiple technology platforms and devices. You will work collaboratively with Developers, Project Managers and other QA Test Analysts and ensure the delivery of high quality solutions that not only perform functionally but also to the highest levels of visual quality and UX.

You will be technically aware of and able to understand software architecture concepts and workflows with knowledge of HTML, CSS and scripting languages. You will need to have a sound understanding of website testing processes, methodologies and techniques.

Reporting into the Production Director and supervised by the Senior QA Test Analyst you will also work closely with the Production Team, Developers and the Creative team.

We are seeking someone with a meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality. You’ll need to work effectively with developers regarding bugs or other issues found, working to ensure they are resolved to the defined standards of the project. This role requires the ability to create detailed test plans, bug reports and other project documentation.

We will support you through on the job training and professional development via consultation with your line manager. We will work with you to identify areas where external training would be beneficial.

Crafted’s office is located in Ipswich, a short walk from the station and easily commutable from the surrounding area and beyond, including Cambridge and London. We have recently relocated to a large modern office that has been completely refitted to our specification, to ensure it has the perfect working, meeting and recreation space… and we are very proud of it! We also offer flexible and remote working.
