Bruton Knowles LLP is an independently owned Chartered Surveying practice who provide a comprehensive range of surveying and property services. Our geographic reach covers the whole of England and Wales.

About the role:

We are looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant – Receptionist to provide professional receptionist and administrative services to the business based from the Gloucester Office.

Key responsibilities:

  • Operating a switchboard and taking calls
  • Receiving visitors and clients into the office and maintaining a visitors book
  • Managing the meeting room
  • Completing document archiving
  • Updating the contractors database
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
  • Ordering and managing the stock of stationary, paper and kitchen supplies
  • Coordinating Health and Safety and Fire requirements in the Gloucester Office
  • Liaising with the property management company with any issues including heating, contractor visits etc
  • Supporting the business with administrator duties, as required, including bulk mail
  • Liaising with suppliers in relation to photocopiers and other office equipment
  • Maintain stock level for IT equipment and assist with the distribution of equipment across the company
  • Any other administrative duties to support the Gloucester Office

About you:

The job will require someone who has ideally come from a receptionist or customer services background and who is organised, presentable and has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Good standard of education specifically in English and Maths.

  • IT Literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft packages and phone systems
  • Able to work in a fast environment
